Fallow Deer

The fallow deer, recognized for its elegant build and spotted coat, is native to Europe but has been introduced to other parts of the world. These deer are highly adaptable and thrive in woodlands, grasslands, and parklands. During the breeding season, males grow impressive antlers used to compete for mates. Fallow deer are herbivores, feeding on grass, leaves, and nuts. Their gentle nature and striking appearance make them a beloved symbol of wildlife, but they face threats from habitat loss and hunting in some areas.
